Chelmsford City Council has approved a budget for 2022-23. The plans from the Lib Dem-led Council aim to maintain essential services and protect vulnerable residents, as well as taking action on climate change, affordable homes and a more-connected city, as promised in the Council's "Our Chelmsford, Our Plan".
Chris Stanley was first elected to Rochford District Council in 2016. During his time on the Council, Chris has worked hard to make sure that residents are helped with flooding issues and planning applications. Working to represent all residents, Chris supported the refusal of the SER8 site in Ashingdon, which was another site he felt would add to the over development of our district without sufficient infrastructure to support the additional number of residents.
This scheme is a grant system and is open for anyone to claim.
To see whether you qualify for the award you will need to answer questions about your income, earnings, and savings. You also need to give proof of your financial situation.
The scheme can cover applications for:
furniture
household furnishings
white goods
clothing and footwear - including School Uniform in exceptional circumstances
general living expenses - these are day to day living expenses such as groceries, nappies, toiletries, money for pay as you go fuel meters
